YouGo!
The YouGo! Life Coaching Course is for anyone, no matter where you are in life or what circumstances you’re facing. Together with a facilitator and fellow Travelers, you’ll answer four Key Life Questions: Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going? How do I get there? YouGo! speaks to loneliness, anxiety, and the search for purpose and meaning as you:
- Discover what makes you unique: your personality, relationships, passions, and past
- Identify your Core Values and what drives your choices
- Define your Life Purpose, the foundation your life is built on
Discover your Life Direction and put it into words in your own Life Direction Statement - Set goals, name the barriers and boundaries in your way, and put everything into action
YouGo! Groups
Purpose: YouGo! groups gives participants a supportive place to work through the Key Life Questions together and find encouragement from others on the same journey.
Group Size: Small enough for every Traveler to be heard.
Time Frame: YouGo! has eight Sessions, and each one builds on the last, so Travelers are encouraged not to miss one.
Meeting Structure: When you arrive, you can expect a get-to-know-you time, some small talk, and (hopefully) snacks. You’ll then move into that week’s session, which involves group discussion, activities, reading, and peer coaching.
Meeting Location: Back porches, churches, office break rooms, coffee shops, living rooms, kitchen tables, student unions, or whatever works for you.
Participating: Your part is simple. Show up to every Session, keep what’s shared in the group confidential, put your phone on airplane mode, and work through the Life Coaching Tools in your Handbook. If you have to miss a Session, work with your facilitator or another group member to catch up.
Facilitating: Thank you for building into the lives of others. Facilitator Instructions guide you through each Session, and the course ends with a Celebration where every Traveler receives a Certificate of Completion.
